This anthropomorphic vessel is covered with the standard geometric motifs that appear on many artifacts from Northern Mexico. This complex of imagery is also found in contemporaneous artifacts from the Southwestern U.S.A., since the area of development of the cultures that produced them covered both sides of the modern-day border between that country and Mexico.
