At the left is a photgraph of the stucco panel from Temple XIX as it currently appears in the Palenque site museum. The panel was completely restored by our restoration experts, whose paper on the topic was a highlight of the Palenque Round Table in July of 1999. Careful observers will note that there is one glyph block missing at the top. A fragment of that block was found, but the restorers could not be certain where to place it within the block, so it was omitted from the restored panel.
